Hi!
I am Julia.
Different elements and stations in my life have contributed to who I am today and how I work as a coach and consultant:
My university studies of psychology shaped my way of looking at the world - putting the person in the center of all my reflections and interactions.
Having worked for 11 years in a management consultancy, I had the opportunity to get insights into a variety of organizations with their different ways of working, dynamics, cultures and power games. As a consultant I had the opportunity to work with leaders and employees from all kinds of backgrounds and sectors. My experience repeatedly showed me that are all human and organizations are shaped by human beings.
I have had the opportunity to lead large-scales projects myself - mainly in international settings - and learned firsthand what it means to lead and manage people.
My curiosity has brought me to live and work in a variety of different places, from Germany, my country of origin, to France, the Netherlands, Laos, Hong Kong, Belgium and more recently Malawi, where I have been living with my family since 2020.
hana_co is a word creation and associates two elements:
hana, the Japanese word for flower blossom, represents the idea of creating the (expressive) state of blooming in the metaphorical sense - in people and organizations.
co stands for how to grow into full bloom. The variety extends from communication and collaboration to coaching, consulting and co-creation - the scope of my focus.
We bring organizations and individuals to the next level, enabling them to achieve the desired impact in their area of influence.
Network partners
Being only human, there are projects I don't do alone, choosing to cooperate with a network of trusted colleagues and partners, as well as fellow coaches.
With my colleagues at subject:RESOUL, we are on mission for meaningful workplaces.
This partnership is particularly dear to me, as personal links have grown over years and our work is deeply rooted in trust and a true pleasure of working together.
A German-French cooperation, which started in my previous role at Kienbaum. For years we were responsible for coaching contracts with the European institutions and even won the Prism award by the International Coaching Federation.
The collaboration continues in different projects now that I have moved on.
